Discovering beauty in the ordinary

Discovering beauty in the ordinary

The day is here!

The day is here!

Just a quick note to say good morning and thank you all for praying! The Lord answered your prayers, though not in the way I imagined (as always, right?).

I did not sleep that well last night as I was constantly fighting nausea. But the good news about that is: I was pretty awake when it was time to take my shower! Since I had done the shower routine last night, this morning’s routine went quickly and wasn’t a problem. My nausea even seemed to subside . . . kind of!

All of a sudden after getting dressed, I had a very strong wave of nausea and lost a bit of my breakfast (so to speak, of course, since I didn’t have any breakfast). Then the strong nausea passed as quickly as it came.

Now I’m squeaky clean, drank my last Ensure Clear, threw a load of towels in the wash (seriously folks, 4 towels and washcloths for those 2 showers?) and am ready for the day.

So, do I try to take a cat nap or no? After all, I will be sleeping almost all week! 😉 Don’t be jealous now!

Blessings!

  • Mom’s Sundowners was in high gear last night, so I was up and able to pray for your requests often last night. You are continually on my heart, loved and prayed for.

  • Yes, sleep as much as you can…if and when you can. It’s always good for the body to be rested especially before surgery Le sommeil est très réparateur! Je t’aime tant! Bisous, ma belle. Love and lots of prayers
