Ok prayer warriors! We have a small snag. Epidural is still keeping pain under control (though I sometimes need the extra boost now that my belly is getting a little distended from starting to eat and from built up gas). So that’s good.
The snag is my IV. We always have trouble with my IV, but I was quite impressed this time around that I was able to have an IV that worked for so long. This afternoon it started burning and causing me problems. So they’re calling up the IV experts with their ultrasound machine to try to find a new spot for my IV. To be honest, the IV is one of my top fears when I have surgery. So here we go! Thanks for your prayers.
**thank you all for your prayers. They called in the IV expert with his ultrasound machine and he did a good job so I admit I can feel it in, so I’m a little bit nervous about when they started up again. Please pray 🙂. He said I wasn’t the toughest case he had today, so that made me feel a little better 🙂 It’s in, and hopefully I won’t need it changed before I’m out of the hospital!!
